The story of four boys, four friends, coming of age in the most dangerous city on earth – Baghdad. One is Kurdish, one Christian, one Shia and one mixed Sunni and Shia. As they enter their last year in school, can their friendship survive the sectarian violence that is tearing their city apart? Will they stay in Baghdad or flee like millions before them? Will they graduate? Will they even live to see their 18th birthday?

Uniquely, Baghdad High was filmed by the students themselves, offering an insight into ordinary Iraqi lives rarely seen.
